John Rasmussen

John initially developed a love for the healthcare staffing industry while attending the University of Buffalo School of Management and interning with a local staffing company in 2007. Beginning in the healthcare IT staffing space, it became clear to him that having an impact on quality healthcare was not only intriguing but very rewarding. As his career grew, the ongoing shortage of clinicians in the U.S. became evident. He not only had an interest in the staffing of healthcare IT professionals but grew an interest for recruiting the experienced clinical staff who more directly impacted the patients.

From there MedWave Healthcare Staffing was born. Since its inception, its been laser-focused on providing healthcare facilities nationwide with the ever-so-important personnel to fill staffing gaps and consequently provide better patient care.

Since 2015, John has been fortunate enough to interact with thousands of healthcare professionals and has found a love for helping them realize their career goals while also helping facilities fulfill their needs. It’s a win-win!

The entire MedWave team continues to focus on the fundamental responsibility to our clients and clinicians. Ultimately, it's great to make a positive impact!
